Eli Lederman, Founder and CEO
Eli Lederman has worked in businesses related to financial markets and their technology for over 20 years. From 2007 until its sale in 2010, he was founding chief executive of a pan-European stock market owned by nine of the largest investment banks in the world. Prior to that, Eli was with Morgan Stanley as Managing Director overseeing cash and derivative electronic trading businesses for European equity, credit and interest rate products. Between 2004 and 2006, he served as co-chair for FIX Steering Committee for Europe, Middle East and Africa. A recipient of an Sc.B. degree in physics from Brown University, Eli earned a Ph.D., also in physics, from NYU. Before joining Morgan Stanley in New York in 1993, he was a post-doctoral Research Fellow at Harvard. More recently he is the author of two works of fiction: “High Finance – a Wall Street novel” and “From Pillar to Post – an American novel.”
